The Hair Salon is located on the lower level of the Center. Both men and women residents can be served by the stylists.

Check the small 4 drawer cabinet in the the coat room. For valuable items, check with the Front Desk Ambassador.

Meditation Room

This room, located across from Penny’s Lounge, has been set aside for non-denominational prayer, reflection and meditation and is available to all residents, staff and visitors.

Sunflower Shop Welcome

The resident-run Sunflower Shop is located near the main entrance to the Center. Profits fund the CRA activities.

AFSC Sales – held in a shed where residents can drop off small furniture and household items to donate and/or buy items already priced.

AFSC Clothing – The clothing recycling is located the lower level of the Center room #58.

Notary public services:
are available at no charge by appointment.    Crosslands or Cartmel, contact Renee Shoemaker at (610) 388-5669 or rriddell@xlands.kendal.org. Make an appointment since walk-in or immediate service may not be available. Vehicle Title notary service is not available.
